The look and feel of a website is very important. A design of a website is the layout, color, graphics, fonts and content. Information on your website should be available, readable and accessible at any times. That’s why a design doesn’t only have to look good, it has to be user-friendly as well. When designing a design several things have to be very clear. What is the message you want to convey? Who is your target audience? And what is your target audience looking for?
I’ve learned to build wireframes to make sure the layout and menus are clear to how your users browse and search on your website (getting the right design). Then I create the identity of the website and tweak some details (getting the design right).
I know how to work with programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign. When designing a website I use the bootstrap framework to make it easier to develop it later on. That also makes it easier to build a responsive design so you can view the website on multiple devices.
